Facial Lymphatic Drainage

Facial lymphatic drainage clears fluid the face cannot move on its own, using light, directional strokes that carry it toward the drainage nodes in the neck.

What Brings You In

Concerns Facial Lymphatic Drainage Treats

Morning Puffiness

Morning Puffiness and Facial Fluid Retention

A face that starts the day swollen and slowly deflates by afternoon is describing a drainage problem. The session gives that fluid a route out instead of waiting for gravity to do it.

Treatments+

Neck nodes are cleared first, then light strokes move fluid from the centre of the face outward and down. Thirty minutes, face and neck only, with cadence set by how long results hold. The LINFA Method is the whole-body option when puffiness is not limited to the face.

Causes+

Hours of lying flat let fluid settle into the softest tissue of the face, under the eyes and along the cheeks, and the narrow facial pathways take time to move it once you are upright.

Drains
Puffiness softens as fluid moves to the nodes in the neck
Defines
Contour looks rested as fluid clears, with nothing lifted or altered
Calms
Slow, paced strokes settle tension held in the jaw and face
Integrates
The result settles in over the 24 to 48 hours that follow
Facial Lymphatic Drainage Process

Thirty minutes, in sequence.

The session books as 30 min Lymphatic Drainage, Head, Neck and Face. Here is what actually happens inside it.

Step 01 · Assess
A face-specific intake before any hands-on work.

The first visit opens with a short intake built for this session: recent dental or facial procedures, current skin state, and anything in your history that changes the pressure or the areas worked. If you are recovering from a procedure, Crystal confirms your treating provider has cleared hands-on work in the area before anything begins.

Details+
  • • Recent dental, oral-surgery, or facial aesthetic procedures and their timelines
  • • Skin state on the day: active irritation moves or delays the session
  • • Health history and contraindication screen for the head and neck region
  • • Clearance from your treating provider where a procedure is involved

When Facial Lymphatic Drainage Isn't the Right First Call

See a physician first

Active skin infection or acute inflammation on the face, undiagnosed swelling, or sudden facial asymmetry that has no explanation. These need a physician's assessment before any massage therapy. If swelling arrives with fever, spreading redness, or heat, call your physician before you book.

Screened at every first visit

Every first session opens with a face-specific screen: procedures, skin state, and health history. If anything calls for medical review first, or your treating provider has not yet cleared hands-on work, the session waits. You will be told directly, and nothing is worked around a flag.

When a different session fits better

If fluid and tension involve the whole body, Crystal's LINFA Method session is the better scope. If the concern is the skin surface, congestion, texture, or tone, a medical-grade facial is the right booking. Both are in-house, and the intake routes you honestly.

Steps to your first consultation.

02

Step Two

The first visit opens with a short face-specific intake: recent procedures, skin state, and your goal for the session. The hands-on work fills the rest of the 30 minutes, starting at the neck and finishing with the jawline. You leave with hydration guidance and a recommended interval.

01

Step One

Book the 30 minute head, neck and face session online at essentialchirormt.janeapp.com or call 905-856-2299. The session is $125 and no referral is required.

03

Step Three

Cadence follows your goal. A single session works before an event. Persistent facial fluid usually starts with a short series, then spaces out to match how long the result holds for you. Post-procedure plans follow your treating provider's recovery timeline. Crystal sets the interval at each visit.
